The California Community Colleges have partnered with health service agencies around the state to donate much-needed supplies and equipment, as evidenced by this graphic recently shared by the State Chancellor's office.
On a local level, the District has expended or committed, as of April 22, $9,034,769 in support of our nine-college coronavirus response, as reported to the Board of Trustees, in the following categories:

- $947,530 for custodial support (maintenance equipment and supplies for emergency cleaning, including personal protective equipment and Red Cross pathogen training);
- $5,543,995 for upgrades and services in information technology (infrastructure upgrades; Chromebooks, laptops, and tablets; software for special learning applications; licenses for VPN access);
- $294,885 for ADA compliance (special software and personal devices for students with disabilities);
- $384,574 for security (additional coverage during current campus closures);
- $45,250 for remote/online professional development (primarily faculty stipends to conduct training);
- $273,585 for essential employees and the Emergency Operations Center (primarily overtime); and
- $1,545,000 for students (support for 2,721 student workers; purchase of 4,000 Chromebooks [the latter through the LACCD Foundation]).
