Congratulations, WLAC Women's Basketball!

As the pandemic rages on, good news about our students becomes a highlight of our day.  It gives me particular pleasure to announce that four members of the West Los Angeles College women's basketball team have been named to the 2020-21 California Community College Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.  All told, A total of 116 players from 41 California Community Colleges were accorded this honor for the current academic year.

So please join me in congratulating these students who continued to excel in their academic pursuits even as they dealt with seismic shifts in their roles as student athletes: Tricia Delph, Diana Gaitan, Taniya Simmons, and Makya Smith.
