Good news on the online education front.
According to Dean Eric Ichon, West Los Angeles College was recently recognized at the Distance Education Coordinators’ Retreat as being in the top five of all California Community College searches for the California Virtual Campus/Online Education Initiative Finish Faster portal. The portal is a tool for UC/CSU students to search for CCCs classes so they can complete their undergraduate degrees more quickly. With 252 completed applications from students outside our District in the past year, West is third behind Foothill College and Coastline College.
