A Luau in November Makes Perfect Sense.

Trish and I had the privilege to attend the Fourth Annual WLAC Baseball Luau Sunday, November 3.  Over 100 family members and friends of the team gathered on the baseball field to support our team, to share in good food, and to raise money to provide additional equipment for the team.  A highlight of the day was the team's choreography...

..followed by an on-stage gathering with all the coaches while Coach Murphy Su'a offered a heartfelt statement about the pride that he feels in coaching "such an outstanding group of men and women" (yes, women...West has a female baseball player who traveled here from Australia to be on our team).

The enthusiasm for and commitment to our baseball team shown by everyone in attendance is a reminder that our Athletics program is an integral part of the WLAC experience, and the tutelage our student athletes receive from our outstanding coaching staff, as illustrated by Coach Su'a, provides lessons in teamwork and leadership that will truly last a lifetime.  I encourage everyone who's reading this to support our athletes by attending one of their games.  I know  they appreciate the support and encouragement.
