Thanks to everyone who attended the Annual Holiday Drop-In on December 5. Approximately 100 members of WLAC's faculty and staff enjoyed a Mexican menu of fajitas, enchiladas, and salad, as well as a mariachi band concert.
In particular, I want to extend my appreciation to all who contributed to our WestGives! drive this year--to provide food items and new underwear for our students who use the West Food Pantry and the West Wardrobe.
A very special recognition goes to the WLAC Hospitality Club. In a note to the students, advisor Kay Boles thanked the students who participated, noting that "We donated 45 pairs of packaged underwear, and various food items. We are the ones who are blessed, to be able to give to others. Thanks so much for being part of our sharing generosity!"
