Several of you have asked me about what the District is doing regarding various issues and concerns that have a level of complexity that prohibits a quick response.
The District has established a series of ad hoc work groups to draft overarching policy statements (not plans or procedures) for subsequent discussion and consultation within the context of the four stages of a recovery plan. These six groups are n addition to the work groups that I mentioned in my May 20 posting (Budget/Human Resources and Title IX).
These work groups are comprised of presidents and vice-chancellors.

- Hard to Convert Courses and Essential Infrastructure
- Athletics
- Child Development Centers
- Community Services
- District Equipment/Supplies (that may be taken home)
- On-site middle schools/high schools
