 Today-- April 4--the 53rd anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.--also coincides with Easter Sunday, which provides an opportunity for reflection on who and what we want to be as a society.  As we consider the enduring impact of both Dr. King's philosophy of nonviolence and the tenets of the Christian faith, I commend to you for your reading this overview of Dr. King's accomplishments.
